del agua al agua

Water left its mark
My veins reached to the edges
As I sprouted
As I bloomed into a full green leaf
I felt the cold wind of the early spring caress me
The dust of still sunny days pile up on me,
then rain showered me
shook off pesky dinner guests
Cleansed me tills I glistened again
As the autumn came
Yellow donned my looks
Red made me feel an eminence
I was on fire! Then I heard the wind whisper slightly
I let myself go
Me desprendí sin que nada me importara
I flew about care free
Tills I was brown
Brittle
Dust
Until I could be with the wind so I could join the water up in the skies
